Alexander reaches his hand up, ignoring the slight flinch from Nolan, and presses the back of it to Nolan\u2019s forehead. \u201cYou\u2019re burning up. Why\u2019d you even come to class today?\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u2018M not sick,\u201d Nolan protests as he pulls back. \u201cIt\u2019s just\u2026 hot in here. And I\u2019m tired.\u201d Even as he speaks, his vision blurs a little bit more. \u201cI\u2019m fine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cStop <em>saying<\/em> that!\u201d Nolan\u2019s flinch is a lot more pronounced, and slightly delayed at the shout. Alexander grabs Nolan\u2019s shoulders harshly. \u201cYou\u2019re <em>not<\/em> fine, so stop <em>lying<\/em>!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlex-\u201d Logan is cut off by the blond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLogan, let me <em>talk<\/em>!\u201d His focus is redirected again at Nolan, who\u2019s curling into himself, trying to look as small as possible. His laptop covers his stomach like a shield, protecting him from Alexander. \u201cYou\u2019re not okay! Just\u2026\u201d Nolan\u2019s breath hitches as Alexander\u2019s voice trails off. \u201cYou\u2019re not okay.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Logan opens his mouth again, but closes it at his friend\u2019s expression.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t like it when people lie to me. We\u2019re going to the nurse.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t <em>need<\/em> to go to the nurse! Just let me go eat lunch and I\u2019ll be fine!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNo, you won\u2019t!\u201d Alexander shouts, his grip tightening on Nolan\u2019s shoulder. The raven-haired boy suppresses a wince as his headache somehow blooms exponentially.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlex!\u201d Logan reaches forward, placing his hand on Alexander\u2019s larger one.
