Glowing eyes haughtily stare

Above the crowd

They gleam in joy

At the wealth they see

A world beyond them

A world of gold and jewels

A world they can reach if only

If only!

They could climb just a little bit higher

It’s just there

Right at the horizon

Peaking over the mountains

They can see the glow of treasure

Now if only they could reach it too
