“You can get the covers yourself,” Logan gasps out. “Imma go grab some… grab some water for him.”
“Wait- Logan!” Alexander shouts after his friend. Nolan groans at the noise, covering his ears.
“You’re so loud,” he complains.
“You’re the one crashing in my room!”
“I didn’t want to!”
“In my bed!”
“I- just shut up,” Nolan grumbles. Alexander sends a venomous glare down at him, reaching back to grab the covers again. He pulls at them viciously. Nolan whines incomprehensibly at the imbalance, though it ends once they’re fully out and being thrown over his feverish body. He sighs at the comfortable weight covering him.
Alexander looks down at his handiwork, smugly grinning at Nolan’s lack of complaint. The door opens with a creak, startling Alexander from his thoughts.
“I’m back!” Logan stage-whispers as he tiptoes his way over to the duo. “We should probably get him some water before he falls asleep, right?”
“Probably,” Alexander answers at a normal volume, causing Nolan to wiggle an arm out of the blanket and flail it indiscriminately in the blond’s direction. Alexander eyes it as it misses him, and Nolan blearily opens his eyes. He glares before setting his gaze on Logan.
